Hatha Yoga and Thai Massage

Yoga and Thai Massage share identical and ultimate goals. The goal of both Thai Massage and Hatha Yoga is self [Atma] realization. The Yogic/Thai experience opens one to true serenity and tranquility. The expressions of authentic serenity and tranquility deliver to consciousness the nourishment of living inspiration. What is life? What are we here for? What constitutes spirit-soul? What happens after death? These Yogic questions and revelations are life-breath and are all embodied within the illustrious mantra ”Aham Brahmashmi” . The absorbtion of awareness into Aham Bramashmi’s meaning is the first directive of the all the Vedic sutras. According to the renowned scholar and sage A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, physical Yoga, known as Hatha Yoga, is meant to strengthen the mind-body kosha system so that spiritual soundness develops.  Yogic practice and Thai Massage create personal reliability, security and unassailable vivacity.

Thai Massage is known historically as ‘assisted Yoga’.
The significant difference between an individual practicing Yoga and a Thai Massage session is of course that the recipient remains entirely passive during a Thai Bodywork treatment yet in a Yogic session there is personal exertion and dynamic expenditure of energy. The impacting lesson of genuine passivity for anyone is the experience of trusting and the safety of releasing. The art of ‘letting go’ is a highly cherished achievement among the ‘pundits’.

Both Yoga and Thai Massage open and clear the nadi meridian pathways and stimulate chakra and marmavortexes , which are bioelectrical-magnetic wheels and spheres. This is accomplished through exotic stretches known as asana postures and rhythmic compressions.  Our bodies are living energetic matrixes and lattice systems just as mother earth is with her longitude and latitudinal lines and zones. Both Yoga and Thai Massage address the individual as a multidimensional sacred geometric formulation referred to in Sanskrit as a mandala or a yantra.

Both Yoga and Thai Massage [Nuad Borarn] also voice life into the five energetic sheaths called koshas that envelope and cloak our souls. These contouring vibrational frequencies, the anamaya kosha [physical] , thepranamaya kosha [energetic], the manomaya kosha [mental], vijnamaya kosha [ego/intellect] and the anandamaya kosha [bliss/light] respectively define accurately the more primordial self [atma].  This self, which ultimately originated with pure eternal spirit and infinite light, when intermixing with unnecessary issues and desires,  seemingly descends into the awareness of  exclusive physicality [anamaya]. A most undesirable condition!

Yet the soul’s memory is relentless in its quest, wanting to again attain real satisfaction and fullness and not just a SENSE of satisfaction and fullness. So the startling discovery that these five senses, which make up the physical body, are ultimately limited and incapable of bringing conscious contentment or wholeness creates an intense desire to return back to our ultimate being and spiritual home.  Yogic exercises and Thai Massage treatments are both accomplishing this ‘returning home’ experience with wonderful results.

There are innumerable benefits from both Thai Massage and Yoga:

Physically we receive blessings such as a greater range of motion of our joint assemblies, the cleaning and oxygenation of the cardio-pulmonary systems, the release of muscular adhesions, the flushing out of old interstitial fluids with the replacement of fresh synovial fluids, positive postural alignments and the breaking up of outdated cellular memories.

We also receive the additional empowerments of psychological enlightenment, such as a stronger sense of composure, poise and equanimity, a more lucid mental condition and inspired emotions. Tranquility and serenity are inherent in who we are and Thai Massage and Yoga both bring these experiences with elegance and dignity.

Be a true researcher and scientist and experience for yourself the profound relaxation and marvelous transformational benefits of Yoga and Thai Massage.

Thank you!
