The following instructions are Divine Light to be projected onto any moment of being. With any session...
With any session of Vedic Thai-Yoga Massage, certain ceremonial rituals are recommended before proceeding with a sessions protocol. These rituals may perhaps be compared to a painter choosing appropriate colors and tones. These rituals may also be compared to a gardener predesigning a mystical landscape. These mindsets are tools for procuring the best possible outcomes and they only require a thought!.
Recommended also as an indispensable contribution to initiate a treatment is to direct the receivers awareness to their breathing. Directing the receivers awareness to the sound of the breathing and to the awareness of the bio-mechanisms of the breathing. This will positively enhance the quality of any session. The fact remains that it is pertinent to always articulate clearly to the receiver the following quote “conscious breathing will enhance the quality of the session.”
The truth is that conscious breathing will wonderfully compliment and enhance the quality of our moment to moment living also. This includes conscious breathing while we are walking on a beach, changing a baby’s diaper, fixing our car or washing the dishes.
Shhhh-It is a yogic secret-tell everybody bliss awaits through conscious breathing!
One particular technique that has been on the Vedic meditation books since time immemorial is delightful indeed! Instruct the receiver to “breath in freely from the feet-and exhale freely through the top of their cranium- breathe in freely from the base of the spine and release freely through the finger tips-and to breathe in freely from the navel and release freely through the sides and center of the chest” It is always a pleasurable suggestion also for the receiver to give the breath a color, a sound and a fragrance too. Conclude this brief introduction by instructing the receiver to “surrender to gravity-feeling gravity as being natures nurturing and comforting embrace.” And finally to remind the receiver to remain conscious of the number of breath repetitions too. Counting backwards from 108 has a remarkable and charming affect on our psyche. It is undeniable that the breath resonance is identical to the sounds of the wind and the sounds of the ocean!
These pleasant instructions are always so deeply appreciated!
Now directing the living light of consciousness inwards to ourselves as a practitioner, here are a few more ‘tools’ traditionally used to augment the creation of an effective treatment.
1. Always maintain perfect posture i.e. chest up and open the solar plexus [the second brain]!
2. Always listen inwardly to your Ujjaya Breathing sound.
3. Always remain conscious of the Mulabandha function of distributing energy wholly.
4. To develop optimum sensitivities:
Tune in to THE HEART, THE BREATH and THE FIRE of both you and your fortunate receiver.
5. Release yourself from dreaded logic and be liberated into intuition by:
Foregoing the customary emotions of being analytical, being judgmental and diagnosing. These are unnecessary and impede the flow of being.
Be – do not ‘do.’
6. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR LINEAGE. That is to always offer a thought of reverence and respect unconditionally to ALL past teachers.
7. Always honor VASTU in the moment. Vastu is the Sacred Space which values transcending the influence of the false ego, known in Sanskrit as Ahankara, and which values allowing intuitions natural displacement and emergence over logic’s insipid characterlessness.
8. Always invoke a UNI-VERSE. That is to always invoke a positive affirmation or a mantra prayer to circumvent the incessant distractions of the intruding mind stream. Uni-Verse-One Verse!
9. Always mentally move beyond duality and polarity by feeling the integration of the giver and the receiver into ONENESS. Welcome the astounding revelation that ultimately the person receiving therapy is your very soul! This is the highest and most intelligent way to proceed. The weaver becomes one with the tapestry, the dancer becomes one with the dance, the scupturer becomes one with the image and the archer becomes one with the arrow. The transcendent truth.
10. Always cast your seeds into the future. That is to ‘envision’ in the eye of the heart instantly the conclusion of the session as being joyful, enlightened, healing, balancing, blessed, harmonious, delightful, inspiring, transcendent, refreshing, invigorating, rejuvenating and mystical amongst so many other positive scenarios possible.
The alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, are the same in infinite time and space.
11. Always transmit COMFORT, SECURITY and CONFIDENCE and do this with RHYTHM, CONSISTENCY and FLUIDITY.
The art of love! The art of Soul!
