A totem pole existed illustrating the medical professions, such as allopathics, surgery, pharmacology and psychiatry, positioned at the top of the totem pole. The totem pole also identified and revealed the positions of the noble curative folk arts, such as homeopathy, herbology, acupuncture, breathing and massage, at the bottom of the totem pole.
What is being celebrated today is that this medical Totem Pole, formerly oppressing and monopolizing precedence of other natural options, is now lying on its side. The medical totem pole has assumed a horizontal condition indicating
that the intrepid ‘low ones’ on the totem pole are now being chosen as alternatives to ‘mainstream’ general medical treatments.
What has caused this totem pole to change from a vertical position to a horizontal and equalizing position? What has disclosed the inevitable facts and the consequent indications that the natural folk arts are being preferred frequently over the customary options of standard medicine?
It is very simple…and the truth is obvious!
Over the past four decades, the so-called gods and goddesses of medicine, residing formerly at the top of the medical totem pole, and who were representing the professions of surgery, psychology, allopathics and pharmacology, have been gradually yet regularly receiving sessions in the medical folk arts such as osteopathy, herbology, acupuncture and homeopathy to name simply a few. Established and traditional medical professionals have experienced the power of sessions in breathing, yoga, massage, astrology, acupuncture or even mantra recitations, and now have subsequently succumbed with humility their hegemony over the medical arts. Skilled and reputable medical professionals experiencing the positive transformational powers of the natural arts have been undeniably and genuinely affected. The results have been the return of a fair and even playing field in healing and medical fields.

Innocence and Integrity.
The instinctive village modalities of healing and rejuvenation have always been innocent and full of integrity. They had to always be modest and pure because of the necessary inherent reliance on the mysteries of the life force. Foreign to the natural folk remedies was anything devoid of being subtle and delicate. Faith and normalcy are required to introduce and to activate these enigmatic energies such as prayer which are so vital and obviously supportive.
